About Us
I came up with the idea of a mobile bench vise that fit on top of a Pack Out about two years ago. I spent fourteen years as a Field Service Technician in the medical field and hated nothing more than changing out of my Personal Protective Equipment (fluid-Resistant gowns) to chase down an available bench vise. Before going, I usually sat the difficult piece on the floor, and, while using my foot as an anchor, I would leverage my wrench for a purchase on the fitting in an unsafe manner with mixed success. I would often go home with a pinched finger, a sore knuckle, and often in need of a band-aid,
After some research, I was surprised to find there was nothing commercially available. I made five prototypes over a year and gave four away to some very good friends. I used mine to remove stubborn pipe fittings, keyways, snap rings, and a few other jobs at home. It was a a great conversation piece and I wondered if I could fill an important need...so here we are...
